Anyone know what the smaller pipe(about 25mm) is branching off the exhaust and exiting just behind the front wheel?

Is It Running External Wastegate And Screamer Pipe????

No idea mate, its my boss's car but just wondered what the pipe was for. What does the screamer pipe do??

Bloke who works next door reckons its because its a V6 with only one turbo but I've never heard of that before

As its a single turbo on a V6, its a link pipe for the two exhaust manifolds most likely ???

The janspeed turbo 2.8i xr4s do have an external wasegate so could be the screamer pipe.

i had one of these, and yes, external wastegate pipe where the wastegate is about the lowest part of the car, watch out on speed bumps!
