what would you rather have;
a really nice clean standard car in mint condition that doesnt get driven hard,comes out on a sunday and is going up in value all the time.
or a nicely modified version that can be driven hard,not going up in value as quick but always worth good money in parts.
im presuming most will like the modded cars,but we'll see.
my 3 door is giving me serious paranoia-keep kids away,dust it off all the time,drive it nice and slow,clean the wheels ever time i go out!im not a bufty so its doing my head in.........
but then you look at it and.......wow!

you have had both mint cars and heavily modified cars and always sold them on
but i would leave the 3 dr as it is there arnt many left like that now just use it when the weather permits and when you come to sell standard sell far easier than modified and always fetch good money

id say slightly modified with near standard looks is the best route.
all a decent car should need is some nice wheels and lowering.
mechanical wise its nice to have useable power, rather than worry about the engine rebuild every few months!

i wouldnt modify the 3 door as its too nice.but i am looking at it and wondering what an expensive ornament it is!but after seeing the way mk2 rs2000's have gone in value,maybe it should just go under a cover for a while and hope these go the same way......
im thinking a nice straight 2wd sapphire with stage 3 is prob best all round car for me-sat on rl7's with ap brakes. etc. probably in flint grey....
if i was ever going to get another....
