new ones im sure its volvo
The engine was sourced from Renault, in the shape of a 2.8 litre V6 as used in Volvos destined for the USA. With all the necessary polution containment measures bolted on, the engine churned out a puny 130bhp

They look nice but they were built by the Irish, they were very slow, they were bare stainless steel to save money on paint, parts-bin specification meant the spec varied almost per car, the fancy doors got stuck.
If it wasn't for that awful film they really would all get weighed in for scrap.
They had a safe fuel tank mind...

Advertised for around $25000-30000 at dealers though. I guess thats next to nothing if you deal with proper classics.

i wanted 1....a bit clueless really to how much they are worth....
i think, afaik, the swiss never even made it road legal cause its too bright when the sun hits it for other motorists to be safe.....so they thought.......

PassionFord Post Whore!!
I think they have either a regional or national event at Knebworth Classic Car show on August bank Holiday and you get a load of them, around 10 come rolling in with their doors up....
The leader of the pack is a lady with a proper Right Hand Drive model, most of the others you see are left hookers and she's pretty knowledgeable on the whole thing, quite interesting listening to her at shows chatting to people about how the receivers were desperately trying to piece cars together to sell them before it all went tits up completely, which is why you get alot of quirky differences.
