No i dont believe John Delorean was a saint but I bought the car for its iconic looks and not for the politics behind it.
Yes as a stock car it was underpowered ( the US had strict emission controls at the time ) but mine will keep up with the best of them and with a stainless steel body and structural fibreglass body tub it wont be rusting away like a lot of them will be in another 27 years time.
If anyone is near Hull anytime drop me a line and i will show you one of these 'piles of poo' first hand ...
Oh it has Cortina front brakes btw
Regards
Mike

Wahay!! I've lost my Virginity!!
1. There was never any drugs smuggled in the cars
2. There was never any drugs smuggled in any shape or form
3. John Delorean went to meet potential investors who turned out to be FBI who produced a case full of coke and arrested Delorean for attempted drug smuggling
4. He did not spend anytime in jail

I know they're shit but they're proper 80s cool and I so want one
They go for 10-20k in the UK, and you can even buy ones built from entirely new parts in the States now!
Renault 24v with a twin turbo conversion should perk things up nicely to 400+ brake easy.
