Default trackers on work vans suck!

I'm well pissed about getting docked hours for the sake of a minute here or there,I have to travel miles out of my way to pick my work mate up normally means getting up at 5:30am to get to site maybe 7:02am. to then find the following week they have decided to pay me from 7:30!

Trackers on work vans take the trust element out of the staff and piss me off!

Either they owe BOTH of you 28 minutes OR as they can tell what time you are on site they should be paying you both by the minute, including if you leave a few minutes late at night.

next time your 2 minutes late in just sit yourself down for the next 28 minutes and have yourself a cup of tea. if theyve got a problem with that then tell them to pay you from when you start.
or tell your mate to get the bus.
or tell your work to shove their van up their arse as you dont want it.

There is an issue with trust in the first place if these needs fitting, if people are taking the piss out of there employers they wise up to it and fit such devices!

The place I used to work at got them fitted just before I left, pissing off all the drivers there beause of one boss . Now the comapany i'm at now has them .

They do fuck up though, 1 lad was clocked going through Darlington town centre at 120mph when he was 15 miles away parked up on site.

totally disagree, i want one because i'm to lazy to fill a in list everytime i go somewhere, I don't have to, but than i get taxed for it. 20% of the value of the car will be added to my income and over that tax... Would be around 310pound per month
(not a workvan but a new mondi that is)

little unfair for 2 minutes but as you can see the people to blame are the ones that are abusing the trust in the first place they know who they are lol

you just need to have a word with your boss about the situation with your workmate and your travelling time etc..

if you stay past your finishing time by 2 mins,do you get 1/2 hour overtime.
