I am in need of a FORD KA FRONT DIFFERENTAIL (cheap).

As my one has started to leak fluid badly so need it asap

a gearbox then?....

the diff is built into the gearbox.....

I told it up to my ford man today he sed it is just the differentail as it is coming for the front passengers side do not think it is the whole gear box just the differentail

sounds like it is prob just the diff side seals any way these gear boxes split real easy so instead of buing a new one just re-seal it surely?

the diff is in the gearbox....

if its leaking, it will be through a driveshaft seal, which is an indication your diff bearings are worn

what happens if i re seal it and it is the bearing that is worn what will happen if it gets driven alot then

it will be ok for a week or so then leak again..

the diff moves about due to worn bearings, which wears the seals out on the driveshafts....

you may be ok just changing the driveshaft seals if you dont have bearing play, but imo its normally the case.

does your speedo work ok?
