Phil - that is not an engine dyno. You are getting confused as alot of people reffer to rolling roads as dyno's. Not taking anything away from anyone but a a FWD car with lots of wheelspin on the rolling road can put a very big grin on the owners face however when put to the test the results are always dissapointing.
Also any idea what 1/4 mile terminal speed it does as that is what reflects power. For example, Paul R's Zetec turbo Fiesta has done 12.7s 1/4 with only 260bhp.
Thanks - Sunny.

If you click on the link to the site you will see all your answers.
Its says 1/4 mile 12.6secs @ 114mph.
Engine is the standard 1.6 16v with head work pitons rods etc.

Not as much as you think, people spend silly amounts and very often get crap results as a result. Point being if you know what your doing and use the right people who want to be part of something good cost isn't half as bad as most think. Saying that, my car is road legal and not just a 1/4 mile car, it is also a top speed car which has done speeds in excess of 180mph and at this level you can not afford to not do things properly to cater for everything. If your working on a budget like some, you will not achieve more than one requirement (for example, 1/4, road legal, top speed, track car). I say if your going to do it, do it properly otherwise don't bother starting it and as I said when doing 180mph in a FWD car that weighs 650kgs you have to make sure everything is done properly.
Just curious to know whether the Nova is road legal and if you have any evidence of it's top speed?
Not taking anything away from it as it is a very fast FWD non-road legal 1/4 mile car.
Thanks - Sunny.

It was barely road legal at the start of the year but Ade has now decided to say bollucks too it and turn it into a dedicated drag car.
As for top speed, not a clue. New suprise engine for next year though
Hopefully a Ka will be joining the Nova soon
