When's it going to stop that's what I say? Surely it just can't keep going up like it is, no-one will be on the road soon. If it keeps like this I won't have any choice but to find a new job nearer home. It went up 3p a litre minimum over the weekend around me. Seeing diesel at £1.28.9 today. It's just outrageous.

Gordon brown said today "prices are not going to drop for ATLEAST 2 years """

When we are all skint and getting on trains and buses

I think £1.50 a litre by end of august

81.5% is tax http://www.petrolprices.com/fuel-tax.html

I'm hoping he'll be out by then and we can actually have someone who has some control over the country in number 10. He's bloody hopeless.
There will come a point where I might as well not bother going to work. It's a good job I only have to do my journey 3 days a week, if I was doing 5 like I used to do just going to work would be costing me £400 a month. It just wouldn't be worth it.

I was watching a program a few weeks ago and it was talking about road tax and the like and it said originally it was all ploughed back into the road building and maintenance schemes but now it's just a way of making extra revenue. If they scrapped the road tax at least that would give us something back, they just want it all ways.

They run on LPG though. Why do you think that's not taxed as much.

This is the way ahead:-

I use it a lot and near us it seems the Sainsburys in Crayford is usually always the cheapest & the prices have always seemed to be spot on.
