Im thinking of moving on from the Ecos and getting a cheaper RS and a Bike.........

Im 98% happy with the car and just a few niggles to do, get it mapped and enjoy, but im loosing interest so near the end and fancy something different i think

Ive thrown so much at it, Fresh engine, New T38, New brakes, Suspension, Leather, Paint work etc etc

Will i regret this? Should i just leave it awhile, then come back to it?

Im going to get it booked in soon for setting up etc, but i may leave it a while after to see if my interest comes back?



Tempted for a Mint S1, FRS or Saffy?........

youll deffo regret selling it, i bet the only reason you want a bike is because of the top weather atm, wait till winter and youll regret it

get a realy cheap suzuki drz or sumit for Ł800-Ł1000 you wont have to sell ur cos and uve still got a reliable fun bike

normally in this situation the you have already answered your own question.

you have already got it in your mind you think you should sell and your just looking on here for reasurance from others.

I normally say to my self when it gets to the stage when you think of selling then youve already started the process of moving on. especially if you cant even look at it.

im at this stage as well, always wanted an escos, but now my dreams been realised, im lost as to what to do?

its will be a shame as you have obviously spent a lot of time and money on it which you will not probably get back, but if i were you id sell it and move on.

Similar situation for me,pals have all just bought R6`s n that,now Ive got an Escort Cossie and Im used to seeing it everyday the novelty has worn of, TBH im thinking of seeing the summer out with the Cossie then selling it and buying a Tommi Makkinen Evo and a Suzuki GSXR 600,

I say sell. If you've thought about it like you have then it'll always be on the back of your mind. I LOVED my escort, sooooo much and I love everything about them in general but... I don't miss it.

Folk are right in saying you'll regret it and they're right to an extent. I regretted selling my first one so I bought another but I don't miss it as much as I missed my first one.

I must warn you, if you get a bike aswell as an RS, then the RS may very well be used even less. If the weathers nice im out on the bike at weekends now for a long ride out. I still take the escos out every now and then though but its usually only for half an hour or so locally. Always good to know its there if i fancy a drive out though.

 

max everything is for sale at the right price, but would have to be a substantial amount, as everyone has pointed out, there's not many left like this, and kept in the same condition the value will always rise shaprly.

Far too nice to break! Just needs fuel pump fitting and mapping really!

I dont know, gunna clean it later and give it a polish over the weekend. Think its more because its taken so so long and little things get to me.. ( i expect a new car LOL )

Think if an offer came, i'd cut my loses and move on, but as for a sale Ad, i'd have to 110% sure 1st.

You know what i think, but all you have to remember, you've had 3 now, regretted selling the last two and finally have the exact one that you'd always been after.

Cars booked in now for the 2nd June for Karl norris, to sort fueling ( 023 to swirl pot, then 044 pump ) and set it up for the rest my running miles as at the mo its running too rich., then two weeks after that booked for Full power remap and Blacks fitting!

Have to see how i feel then................
