Heard about it at the gym today, couldn't believe it, gutted. I thought he'd be around forever, his 'sessions' will be greatly missed. He has given me so much over the last 30 years. My first memory was 'Gang of Four- Entertainment' This album IMO is a classic. Also introduced me to the ideas of IDM in the 80/90's and still into it now. Never heard or saw a more musically open minded person. Added my thoughts to the Radio 1 site.
