Default Disconnecting Amal Valve

Which wire is the amal valve on an esc cos?cos there are 3 that are near the same thingy lol....and is it best to disconnect this becuase of a superchip?

Small turbo Amal should be unplugged completely if running most chips as they couldnt figure out how to stop it clicking and going mad so their professional "Fix" was to remove the power from it... roflol

The valve is located underneath teh slam panel ahead of the thermostat housing. Its also a pig to unplug

Amal valve pal.
Unplug it and you should find its ok, but get the boost carefully in case some goon has set the boost with it plugged in

Sounds like your in teh wrong area fella...

Its bolted to teh top of the intercooler, but its obscured by teh slam panel if that helps?

The valve in question has 2 pipes connected to it and 1 single 2pin plug mate....

nearly pulled my hand off there tryin to pull the thing out,its still on and it wont shift....bloody fords.

nice one buddy,thats it now...how many turns,or half turns would you recommend to turn the boost up until i get it setup in a matter of a day.

surely,if i turn it a tiny bit,take it for a drive i can see where my car is boosting to....it seems that as standard its holding half way round the solid bar....

Is your fuel pump still flowing perfect pressure and your fuel reg still maintaining that pressure with boost against it?

Skiman, as I said not worth the risk..I've blown up a small turbo cossie engine (holed no 4 piston)........Expensive mistake £ 2,600 to put right

Wished I had got it checked out first - just like Stu is advising you
