Default Track?

Right lads, n lassies.

I'm looking to get into the "trackday scene" sometime soon (when funds allow!)

Was wondering what kin of terms and conditions the tracks (mostly knockhill) have?

Do i need to do any courses before i can drive on the track?
Age?
Driving experiance?
etc etc....

Im 17, full UK driving licence, "with pass plus"
9months driving experiance.

Also, what spec does the car require to be?
MOT'd?/tax'd?
Roll Cage'd?
Any other safety devices required?

Cheers. Replies are mucho appreciated!

TBH you should ring up the track as they all have different rules and regulations on what can and can't be driven on the track.
They'll be able to explain. You need no formal training to do a 'run what you brung' type track day.
