had a fantastic weekend, the tour itself was awsome, we left kendal and went past windermere through ambleside and up the hartside pass then on to high force waterfall, then to the tan hill inn (the highest pub in england) before going over the buttertubs pass to return to kendal passing the ribblehead viaduct on the way, a total of 160 miles round trip.
at one point our group had gone the wrong way and when as we were all turning round my m8 andys mk1 escort zackspeed replica hit mine, a total accident which took out my new headlamp surround and the headlight itself, the wing will also need a bit of tlc but it shouldn't be too much trouble to sort.

overall a fantastic weekend with some great roads, the 100E felt great and the engine feels so strong, done 400 miles now so it's nearly run in.
will deffo be back again next year on the tour.

The surround is now off the car and is quite badly bent, the wing is also damaged so the car will have to come in to the unit for you to sort it, no rush tho next week will be fine lol, then you have andy's rear quarter to do, but your used to painting his car now!! lol

WHY?

the wheels are 14" to clear the big brakes, the offset is pug 205 to fit under the arches,I can't go wider than 6" I have to run 175 tyres on the front because of the arches and 185 on the back to clear due to the small wheel tubs on the back
I bought the wheels 8 years ago some 2 months before my wedding/buying my first house, money was tight, I picked them because I wanted a 5 spoke design and the spokes on these wheels go right to the edge of the rim to make the wheels look bigger...
yes the wheels are like marmite love or hate but it's my car and there staying...
