Default New track car coming today!

Seeing as we(i) decided that we didnt want to put the Skoda on track at Croft, and the fact neither of us are particularly interested in actually finding another Cossie at the minute, thought it would be better to buy a track car

im not going to give it away just yet, but it was under £800, anyone wanna take a guess?

Lee on his way now to get it, should have it by 10am

Sarah

Big brakes and decent suspension would be on my list WAY ahead of anything to give it more power!

For the money you were paying for it i would have expected a shed, but then again if it was mechanically sound rust and dents add to the comedy value anyway lol

the drivers wheel was bent, the front end was out of line, the bonnet catch didnt work, the header tank wasnt fastened in, all along the roof to windscreen was rotten, none of the clocks worked, the exhaust was knocking, wouldnt go into second gear, the boot spoiler was held on with silver tappets, arches not fastened on either

need i go on

back on the hunt

Must admit im not that surprised at 800 quid, typically you need to be paying 2k+ for a decent one.

me either but the pics although bad quality it didnt look like a total shed, its just a shame that sellers cant be honest when your going to buy something and saying its spot on apart from the gears being a bit iffy

He asked Lee what he would give him for it, Lee said i wouldnt give you anything tbh it aint worth it

here is ebay link....

but there allways cheaper for a reason though like bent wheels and obvious accident damage lol.

The thing with these vauxhall xe conversions is that a lot of the owners a right chavy scruffy cunt that just slap an engine in the car in there garage and think its ballistic and dont do it properly.

ps not saying all nova/corsa xe drivers are scruffy cunts lol
