Got to say, that warping the brakes on the M5 tells me that it was being driven properly. Sadly it is not hard to do that. I did mine when I went over.

Well back at work today after an amazing week at the Nurburgring!
Had great time over there, especially as the mrs came this time and i really thought that after a few days she would grow tired of the car talk/culture? But Danielle absolutely loved the holiday!

As usual we went with a top set of people which also makes the holiday that bit as well. We also met some new faces whilst over there and as usual were fantastic to get on with and a pleasure to meet! Thanks to all that we spoke to for that!

After a nervy few weeks before the trip with the S1 playing up I really thought that it wouldn't make it?? But due to the help from the team @ MSD, Liverpool Motorsport and Danielle (for being so patient) we finally made it in the escort!!

As per previous posts I would like to thank a few people for making our holiday a great one..................................

Will and Kenny
- Quality fellas, thanks for help getting my car to Germany! Still can't work out why Will has such a posh accent and come from Bradford! ha

Stu and Nicole
- Thanks for your help with my car prior to the trip, lovely to see you both again. Get that baby seat strapped in for next year! ha

Karl and Nick
- Nice to see you again lads, alway good to have a laugh with!

Graceland
- Absolute Legend! Thank you for getting us to the europort on the way home! without you we would have still been in Rotterdam!

Adam (Oggy)
- Pleasure to meet you mate! Hope that you enjoyed your first trip to the ring? Thanks for letting me and Shorty run off with your camera to take some great pictures (or we thought they were great anyway! ha) Also to let anyone else know this guy can really take a picture! Look forward to seeing your ablum from this holiday, and meeting up in a month or two with Sticky for another photoshoot!

Stu (BSC)
- Nice to see you again mate, loving the BMW with the 50/50 wheel colours!

Ben (Gatecrasher)
- Great to meet you mate! real diamond! Loving your Subaru, really hoped you enjoyed your first trip? Hopefully see you there next year??

Kelv, Ryan, Richie
- Great to speak to you again lads, see you at some shows this year!

Jim and Rich
- Only really got to speak to you the night you car gave in. Hopefully speak more over the next few trips?? Jim - Weekend LEGEND in my eye's gave the M3 no mechanical love, put in some blistering lap times!! Fair play!!

Rick and Aga
- Met you both for the first time on the boat on the way out to Germany and felt like i'd known you years! Quality couple, great friends, pleasure to meet you both! And buy the way Aga can seriously pedal !!

And the trip wouldn't be complete without the mickey mousers.........

Sticky, Kev, Shorty and Diva
- Been great friends of ours for many years, alway have a great time when we are all together! Thanks for all your help getting the car to Germany! Laugh after laugh all holiday! And yes Diva your middle finger does look like a penis!!!

There will be names I've missed, for that i'm sorry, but you all made my holiday a great one and already looking forward to the next one!!

I'm currently getting my pictures loaded up onto the photobucket now so i'll post them when there done!

Thanks again for a awesome trip!!

Darren & Danielle

P.s If anyone has any vids or pictures of my car going around the track please could you email me then or post them for me as i have none of it in motion!

How much did you get for your kidneys and lungs then?

Seriously tho, if you are going from Hull and I am definately going (need to swap time off at work) then you can chuck a bag in my boot if you need

Yeah mate i would be coming down from Glasgow so i would go to Hull. Throwing a bag in yer boot would be fkn ace!

I am going over to Italy/Switzerland in a couple of weeks and i am going to try and get the other guys to take a detour to the ring so we can play...
Always wanted to go but would like to go with some people that have done the trip before etc...

Kidneys are fkd from years of abuse but i got a good price.....dont tell anyone!

The more girls the better in my book!!!

I'd love you to ride over too! Seriously though, maybe we can get a few more bikes, that would be a laugh. I was thinking about building a cossie transit, we could use that to get the bits back!

It was fine, faultless really? Just found out that the wheels I have are the wrong offset as they scrubbed really badly on the rear. So i'm now on the look out for some new rims so that i can really push the car next year!

Take the cabbie mate you'll love it!

Amazing! lol

Did you go over kill on any spares, fluids, tolls etc...?

How long roughly did a tank of fuel go? 250-300 miles?

Just took a few spare hoses, plugs, fluids etc. But I take them every year?

My petrol gauge doesn't work too well so i filled up when i got to 200 miles on the clock to be sure? Also i'm running roughly 260 bhp so that might make a difference?

It's not a cheap trip but it's a holiday like any other so take some cash and aim to spend it! ha

All the respect for galbally etc is stupid...he is a person who is self confessed poor but always fucks his cars up via stupidity...surely you would learn...who you blaming this time Jim?

Rich who slated me for not going out PMSL..some have a life other than the "car scene" which i aint interested in due to being full of people who think they are "someone" cause they go to events....LIFE is how you want to live not how others think you should live.

who am i blaming this time phil? erm... me?

paul, 250-300miles? fuck that, me and rich put in 4 tank of fuel on monday

just make sure the S1 is safe to be held flat out for a bit (fueling check etc.) and all will be well mate. you can always turn the boost down if you like, you wont need much power there if youre a novice IMHO

Im very cautious so in my book, riding a bike on the ring got very little to do with bravery. Stupidity comes closer.

This was my first time to The Ring and I must thank Si B for making it possible, I had a terrific few days. It was great to meet you guys and girls and I will make the journey again one day. One fantastic weekend. I took a few pictures which are on line at http://www.flickr.com/photos/trollpo...7605064557770/ if you want to take a look. If you are there just resize and copy, free for everyone. Robin.
