Yep broke mine, at school.

Got an xray, doctor told me it wasn't broken. It was still 'hurting' a week later. Had another xray then another docotor told me it was broken but it was too late to do anything because it was already 'set' wonkey.

Yes I broke mine when a child and I can agree it hurts.

Mine was not as spectacular as yours however, I merely slipped down a flight of stairs on a fire escape due to a new pair of Nike air jordans and a dose of rain.

Sat on the floor for a good 20mins before my mates Dad arrived home and found me on the deck in agony.

I broke mine, amongst other things. It did not heal on its own so I had it plated. It was my most minor injury so never noticed pain. Most common bike injury me thinks?

Yeah broken mine before when i was a kid. A mate, in a karate kid stylee throw, threw me to the ground whilst we were playing footy.
Kinda hurt at first then it went away, finished the match and went in for last 2 lessons of the day, half hour in i decided i was in fact in a lot of pain. Which then led to a trip to A&E.

Yep, Broke my left one 3 times!

1st time was in bed, aged about 3 or 4, can't remember at the mo.. Fell out and landed wierd. Bed was only about a foot of the ground!

2nd time I was running through a field, In Chivenor in north Devon. I managed to get my left leg caught under a thin log while running, which caused me to tumble and land again, on the same shoulder. Snapped it clean and heard it go too!

3rd time, Went downhill mountain biking, Went to go through some trees, Was doing some high speeds, and miss judged the way I had to go, Hit the tree, shoulder made contact and again snapped it....

Yeah broken my right one Twice.

1st was when i was realy young. Was racing someone round my village on my bike and fell off can't remember what it felt like.

The 2nd time was whem i would have been about 10 ish. Was the dreaded parents evening. Was standing up on a small ish cupboard looking out the window when i droped my skittles onto the wooden floor. Jumped down to get the and hit the deck.

Every bone i've broke has been on the right side

I only broke it once but it was in three pieces

Over the handle bars in the lakes. One bent front wheel and a sore knee - hurt more than the CB !

I only knew it was broke when I rubbed my shoulder and felt it sticking out. Shoved my hand in my pocket, bike on the other shoulder and walked all the way down.

Yes you can feel it move around when you move

You have a nice warm time of the year to be bandaged under the armpits

Got in and told my mum who said i'll be fine and i said look i cant move it and my right arm was sore to move aswell. She made me a sling (sp) out of a scarf and told me to make do and eventually after a week she took me to hospital who confirmed yes its broken, but so is the other one

Broke my left collarbone twice, it now has like a extra band of bone material grew around it and makes it poke out a little.

I love bikes, would dearly love a 350LC + 500LC as these are the best bikes the world has ever seen, but just so many idiots on the road now.
I even like x7's, CX500, just loads of bikes but mainly older ones 70's/80's, as newer one just so boring, and too fast for me , I would cry like a little girl!!

some pictures from the day

the bikes all mint and ready to go in the morning

my knee slider after only my 2nd ever track session. i felt like a fraud putting on knee sliders before the day as i thought i wouldn't get anywhere near needing them.

had it cranked right over and the knee down through Sears, Bomb Hole and Coram

then it all went wrong as i wound on the power whilst still on the edge of the tyre coming out of the esses and accelerating in 2nd

the medical staff at the circuit were brilliant

in hospital after the x-ray

the damaged bike. really sorry stu

my helmet (steady girls) after sliding about 20m along the track

when i was done in hospital we headed back to the circuit and stu had another couple of sessions on my bike. also got his knee down on his first track day after only passing his test last september

Thes esses at the beginning of the start finish straight or the end of the back straight?

I high sided my old race bike coming out of the ones at the end of the back straight before the bomb hole.

Ambulance driver gave me a 9.8 for aerobatic ability. Bruised and pulled just about about every muscle in my body but luckily no broken bones.

I found the more i drank in the club house that night the less it all hurt. Ended up racing sega manx TT with a guy who had broken his ankle that day.

Couldn't pick my own head up off the pillow in the morning though!
