Thats what I thought ..
I will explain once other people have confirmed they havent heard of it on the chav scene

or is it due to some spastic way they are fitted to the engine that probably causes a lot more harm than good they get the name?
scatter fuel and air into the atmosphere maybe thus creating a whoosh sound?

Is it one of those new speaker systems that have an activation switch triggered off the throttle peddle, when released to give a mega loud and I am sure totally authentic dump valve sound?

Obviously chatter is LOUD, well it is on mine anyway..
I went to a local petrol station, and was asked "would I ever sell the car", then was TOLD "thats got a scatter dump valve on it", yes, hence the chatter.
Wondered if it was a Chav saying, guess not, they were just knobs LOL
