I think push bikes are subject to similar laws as motorised vehicles with regards to roadworthieness. You know fabric showing on your tyres where you've been skidding
, faulty brakes etc. You would need to be really unlucky to get a cop to pull you on a bike unless you are acting like a cunt.

All bikes sold after 2002 must have a bell by law.Not against the law to take it off and launch it in the bin. They can do you for :
1.Riding on a footpath
2.Riding at night with no lights.
3.Riding through red lights.
4.Imitating a motorbike by putting a peg & playing cards in your back wheel.
O.k,i made the last one up.

Thats the best thing I have heard all day... put that in the load of bollocks pile....

thats a bit like a copper cant nick you if they are not wearing their hat ....
lots of offences regarding push bikes...
failing to maintain them... ie brakes, steering
no lights or reflectors...
wanton furious cycling
drunk in charge of a bike
as for bells, they have to be fitted at the point of sale but dont have to be fitted when they are no longer on display
They must have reflectors of the pedals
hope that helps
