Agreed. Ditch the fuel cap and go back to standard but nice to see a standard(ish) looking S2

Battery tray is mint as i purchased a battery tray and support panel, which was replaced and painted by "coswurv" off here so no rot there,

Are just to fit front spots and i am going to keep it 88' spec, yes the fuel cap might be changed for a standard unit, rolling road setup as the zvh also supplied by "coswurv" will be due for a set up soon.

I 2nd that,I had an 88 series 2 in that colour and have many a good memory in E277 GAR (RIP)... Got it chipped by mark at Grove and it was a flying machine.... and a good drive too

I do prefer them with a 90 spec front bumper , but your looks tops. Just bin the petrol cap but keep the original well greased as they seize up

Nah, keep the dump valve, it tells you you're driving something different. I probably would get a standard petrol cap though. Apart from that looks nice. And keep it the spec of it's year because in years to come it's bound to be worth more if it's more original.
