Who will win? 2x RWD sapphire cosworths...
both were moonstone blue 2wd sapphire cosworths, leather and electrics,
Sapphire 1 (knob head).
MSD wasted spark 350 bhp Stg3, caged, 803s T34 RS500 cooler, 18"s and good rubber, leather interior and complete electrics, 6 paddle clutch, good condition LSD, APs AVOs and a seasoned owner driver
sapphire2 (mine).
I re-shelled my leather clad sapphire into a multi point caged stripped bare shell, solid mounts all round, engine diff beam suspo etc 330bhp MAX Stg3 803s MSD closed loop, stiff and LOW-AVOs, 17"s with ok rubber, No ABS, 3way MIG spec diff and me driving it- no practice! Possible ALS and Launch control-1run only?
I reckon I have sacrificed the luxury of leather and electrics for a car that weighs a little less overall and should (I hope) handle a little better than My mates despite running less boost/BHP for reliability.
So who would win in a head to head style 0-60 0-100 quarter mile and handling circuit event? I keep telling my mate he doesnt stand a chance... but Im not so sure now ive driven mine- it has Zero grip on boost

I hope your not suggesting the public highway?? where would i find somewhere with accurate timing gear to prove it too? As soon as mine is givn the all clear MOT etc I will have to find out.
What if I upped the bhp to 330 max on the day and found some half decent rubber? I will edit the spec to show more detailed info. If I addeda ALS and launch control to the mix I must be close then surely? (i didnt want to use it as I have no spare box- diff- driveshafts or clutch yet)

John from Cov user "TEV" on here, I drove his car after mine and back to back that thing gripped and drove Soooo much straighter than mine, those tyres are seriously good whatever he chose, Im limited to BF goodrich E`s which grip well but nothing like his!
Mad mack:- good idea, we could compare what mine was going to be like (Johns) and how I have improved or maybe ruined mine
I may get a spare clutch in just in case and give it all I have.
(how much is a wet nitrous kit?)

If your on a T3 mate you don't have a hope in hell of hitting a genuine 330bhp! If you've already got MSD software then I trust you know Stu, ask him, he'll tell you!
Get the car raised up abit, some decent rubber and then see what happens!
Mine is hitting 26psi on a T3 on 803's, MSD Closed Loop & Coilpacks, standard ride height at the mo, 18's and 215/35/18 Eagle F1's, grips fine...

His car was live mapped by Karl Norris though.

Pod would sort the 1/4 times no worries- can you run slicks at a RWYB?
"Dan"- Im not, its a T34
"TEV", Im still thinking that my ass in the weeds may not be best for traction 13degree front camber and maybe more on the rear You think you got all yours buttoned up for a day of abuse

I just had that recalculated as I was certain it was wrong when I posted it, trigonometry puts my front camber at a current 4.81 degrees, far too much as I have no feel on the front, current setup will be adjusted and modded to work at better angles.
Im still thinking of ways to beat you TEV, will come up with something on the day Im sure
