need help mkv cabriolet

just looked at a efi cabriolet 1991 on a forcourt do there's car have kind of weld mark on the skirt's either side

If you mean just above the side skirt then yes they do ........ or was that a cut & shut

be more specific, what skirt? were on the car? sure its just not a patched sill? ie had rust welded?
