T4 engine bore size
guys, my 200 block is bored to .5 already, and needs another bore, which would take it to .75
does anyone run a 500bhp T4 engine at .75? or do i need to carry on with my plan to thin wall liner the block?

didn't think they did .75 o/s pistons? Thought it was 0.5 and 1mm o/s? Can't see the problem running 1mm o/s pistons, I know of people who have run 93mm WRC pistons which is quite a lot over +1mm pistons.
Is your block long-studded? As that would be my major concern with a T4 engine.

its going for long studding,
i was under the impression the bore would get to thin going near 1mm oversize

what thickness are the bore walls just now?
the one that cracked on m engine was only 3.5 mm thick so you want to try and be over 4mm.

yeah it cracked the bore with the thinnest wall thickness.
Its one of the 99 blocks not that I really thick it makes any odds.
measure the wall thickness as blocks do vary and yours might be thicker.

It might be ok as I had other probs on the engine that "might" have contributed to the cracking.
