Hi all,
I have bought alot of goods from someone on ebay: user id "amjparts" its nearly been two months since i sent payment. I have noticed he actually owns an escort cosworth and by looking at his feedback he sells alot of RS parts. If anyone has any information on him i would be very greatful. I think his name is David McMillan. The address i sent the cheque to is:

If anyone has any advice on what i should do it would be much appreciated. I really cant do much through ebay as he is not responding and the paymnet was done by cheque not paypal. Even if anyone lives nearby and could pay a visit it would be hugely appreciated.

Any help is hugely appreciated, why do sick scammers like this even exist

If he has a problem shipping stuff just pop round and collect on the door ensuring you have a receipt.

 

am sure i know the guy with the cosworth and that is,nt his name tho , but he is an honest easy to deal with person . sure it has,nt been so long as it had someting to do with u paying by cheque ?

ive had loads of parts off him and he's had a few bits off me ,he is 100% geniune chap bit slow on the delivery no need to worry

 

never had a problem with him either,he can take a while to send payment sometimes but i think thats due to him being very busy,but 2 months is a long time,sure he will sort it out for you though.

 

im sure he's a very decent guy if you know him but decent or not 2 months is a rediculous amount of time to have to wait but theres no excuse other than personal death for not responding to any emails. is he still trading after your cheque was cashed?

Firstly a big thank you to everyone for help, support and offers to even investigate for me. Good to see their are still plenty of honest people around. I have had a reply from the email address i was given to pay via paypal he told me to forward him the relevant ebay emails etc to him. hopefully its going to get sorted. im just guessing its either a mix up or they are just very slow! Ive given the benefit of the doubt for the time being. However for all those who offered their help in paying a visit i may still take you up if things dont work out,

Ach nae worries mate, I would hope someone would do the same for me if i was miles away. I have been in a position before where i needed to drive for hours to go and find out what the hell was going on. And mercurys2 if you dont have any success i will go over when i am off here, that'll be a wee while though if you dont mind waiting a bit..... no pun intended..

I gave him a call and asked is that mcmillan jaguar he said yes, then when i went into the nature of the call he denied any links to mcmillan jaguar. I am fookin fuming!

 

Alright mate, sounds like your having a bit of bother there, i get off here on the 27th, i will take a run over and find out what the fk is going on, you'll abvoiusly need to give me all the details so i can present him with it face to face, would need a copy of your invoice from ebay (with address on it) and if you can get your bank involved that would help. I have done so before when someone screwed me from ebay. They might be able to find out the address of the account you sent it to, i think they did for me only worked because he was same bank and i already had his address!

cutch il pm you all the details from names to bank account names etc. Im still not totally clear on which guy it is at that place as far as im aware Allister mcmillan owns the place and david is the guy ive had some communication with. I have enough information to build quite a case and david has admitted he knows who the person responsible is, he asked me to forward him ebay confirmations etc but ive had no response. Il pm all the info i have to give you everything i know

Hi There I have just finished an ebay trade with him.

I got the tyres quite a while after paying for them, and getting straight information out of him is difficult. But I believe this to just be a case of poor communication.

The tyres and wheels are in good condition and a very good price.

Just have a little patience and pursue him a little, I bet you will get what you ordered.
