Dude, it's not a disgrace that I follow Man U It's the team I've supported ever since I was a kid - win or lose I've always been behind them mate, not all Indians have to support Liverpool (even though one of my brothers is a hardcore Liverpool fan)

Nah, Premier league is the big cheese these days. Did you see the United pre match content how they were saying Spanish league rake it over Ł1billion but Premiership generates over Ł2billion?

Being champions after 38 games is harder than winning the CL. All you have to do is rest up like Liverpool and Milan when everyone else, Chelski, United, Arsenal is gunning for the league and FA cup etc as well. You were European champions in 2005 yet never played us, a team you can never beat. How mad is that.

I think what he means is that it will stop you banging on about it when you face us in a PL game, sure you can sing 5 times but if we did manage to win in Moscow it would sound a bit silly you singing "where were you in Instanbul" as Moscow would be fresher than that. CL is the biggest club CUP comp in the world though. Also United are valued as richest in the world in terms of assets/club worth about Ł300m above anyone else as reported today and second richest in terms of income miles ahead of anyone in the PL.

PL would do me fine but hopefully we can do both. 3 games....

 

You could also flip it round and say United have concentrated solely on the premiership these past 9 years.....considering how many early exits from the CL they've had

 

Sorry mate but i don't think a win, a final this year, several semi finals, quarters etc and usually getting through our group can be compared to being serious points behind and never look like winning the PL since it started. Big difference. We are so far unbeaten in the CL conceeding 1 goal in the last 6 knock out games. You got beat to Marseille at home in the group.

We've done a treble in fairly recent years, nearly repeated it last year doing well in all and have a double on now. Hardly the same. What the fuck have you lot ever done in the premier? I see what you're trying to do, play it down like you did with Barcelona result, but this year and last year you have no silverware and done shit compared to our standards, yes or no?

 

 

Not trying to do anything.....we're getting closer in the prem each year under Benitez, still a fair way off but getting closer. (21 points behind last season, 11 this season.)

But without the money United have, we will always find it hard to compete! when you rest players you have replacements on the bench costing Ł15m-Ł20m, we have Yossi Benayoun and a few other good, but not top class players.
