Being champions after 38 games is harder than winning the CL. All you have to do is rest up like Liverpool and Milan when everyone else, Chelski, United, Arsenal is gunning for the league and FA cup etc as well. You were European champions in 2005 yet never played us, a team you can never beat. How mad is that.

I think what he means is that it will stop you banging on about it when you face us in a PL game, sure you can sing 5 times but if we did manage to win in Moscow it would sound a bit silly you singing "where were you in Instanbul" as Moscow would be fresher than that. CL is the biggest club CUP comp in the world though. Also United are valued as richest in the world in terms of assets/club worth about £300m above anyone else as reported today and second richest in terms of income miles ahead of anyone in the PL.
