Euans and Scotts are the only ones in justnow Col. Euans will just be check up and tweaks and Scotts is part mapped. Mine should be in by the end of the week if alan has space/time.

as above my RST wont be at the RR'd day, the engine is ran in and most likely would have been ready had it not been for gearbox breakages. We changed over to a new box at the Weekend/Mon night with the help from some good friends(you know who you are) Thanks.

Job complete and with the car back together, a few adjustments were being made to the clutch cable, when all of a sudden we were let down by the casing on the gearbox that retains the clutch cable in place sheering from the box casing itself.
The box now needs removed again which isnt as straight forward as it may sound, to then have the gearset rebuilt into another case.
Its just not going to happen in time.

As Paul says cant you fab a bracket to pick up on one of the bellhousing bolts for the cable or get in to tack the bracket in place.

They are fixing the problem I had with the ABS and then it should be on the rollers for a wee tweak here and a wee tweak there, here a tweak, there a tweak, tweak tweak tweak!

Oh dear! Not good news at all. A bracket could easily be fabricated to make it work.
Sound's like you required a proper Engineer to be there with a welder, bolts and some metal!

Sorry I never turned up to help. Not really in car mood nor a guy-laugh anyway, even though my van is MOT'less since Friday and it's still sitting in the field since 2 weeks ago!

The temps certainly to efect things mate and seeing as we dont use any kind of fudge factor the power does rise and fall.

Had some fun on the way home with a hang over and 35 psi!
