Default What engine is this??

Was told it was a 1.8 cvh (sierra) but not sure? It has been moddified to run in an rs turbo,Has oil return etc. Bought it off a bloke on here for my mates van?

Anyone know??

well it defo cvh but i can tell what litre it is no markens on the side at all ??

where is the dizzy?
front of the engine on the sierra lump
rear of the engien on the fwd lump

also, the rwd and fwd engines are cast different so you won't have the mounts to slot it in

Well if you look at the pics it has the mounting holes on the back for a fwd escort etc BUT it also has mounting holes just above the sump on the front & rear?

it's a 1.8 cvh

1= look at the turbo oil return/ it's to high

2= the dip stick is next to the flywheel not by the crank pully

its deffo a sierra 1.8cvh the same as mine

Are they any good? All seems good inside,standard pistons been decked....

mine was but i didnt have standard pistons in it was running 261bhp all day long and it had a really hard time

used one in a old rst of mine used standard pistons run 10psi and went like fuck no lag didnt like any more than 10psi though
