when he's on it, he is unbeatable! but its when he is struggling he get childish and looses focus... but the man IS a legend of the highest order!!!
think it was last year when he broke the tip off of his cue, then re-tipped it in the interval, then won the next frame... most players take months to get used to a tip!!

That was absolutely amazing, never seen anything like that
For anyone who missed it, 12-7 to ronnie, ronnie gets in near the black spot and just goes for it, a few little kisses and canons had to be played but this one shot on the black, and a red tied up next to the pink that wouldnt pot, nearly straight with no angle he punched it in 100mph bounced of the back cushion and split the two, still had postion on the other red that was there, and then plain sailing from there on, even neil and steven on the other table stopped to watch and offer their hand after wards

Just watching neil robertson and steven maguire now, hoping neil pulls a few back and puts some pressure on steven, neil is cool

as above was swift for anyone, for him slightly slower than his world record 5mins something but still quick pace as he was in and around the black so obviously not going up and down for blue was always going to make it fairly quick, especially with ronnie behind the cue
So its either Joe swail or Liang Wenbo that ronnie will play

Didn'y one of his own camp the other day say he was the biggest underachiever in the sport since Jimmy White and Hurricane Higgins ?
Think thats a preety fair comment, as for the talent he has, he should be winning a LOT more!

I like snooker to watch in bed at night before sleep. Not something i'd do in the day as i'm usually busy.
But when ronnies on it's a different story. He's a Legend IMO really makes the game a lot more fun.

Yeah one of the ex players come commentators(probably either steve davis, dennis taylor or willie thorn) said that, but they didnt mean it in a bad way, just for that talent he displays 95% of the time he "should" have won more, but theres reasons as to why im sure.

i understood he had a pretty bad childhood, which is one of the reasons he can get so childish at times! could be wrong though! he seems to make the game much more bearable!

Absolute legend.
I had a late lunch so put it on - caught the frame before, and then as soon as he was in the pack in the last frame, you just knew.....
Love the post-match interview - on about ordering his Bentley GT!
Greatest natural talent of all time on the snooker table - immense!

The fella is a legend.
White, O'Sullivan and recently Mark Selby all make/made the game more enjoyable to watch probably the only ones i'd go out of my way to watch.
