Default Thinking of breaking my......

Cossie engine in the cortina, can't afford to fix it and get it remapped for the forseeable

future .

I wanna break the engine and fit a stock 4 injector cossie motor back in from the proceeds ,

with gas for kicks!

What do you think, good idea ?

You gota keep the car, A stage 3 YB would still be quick in that car. If breaking the engine keeps it on the road, then do it

I don't understand why you don't just replace the pistons for exactly what was in it before, thus negating a re-map and then the engine would also command more money . Putting stock pistons back in and then having to remap it will put people off handing over big money.

I haven't got the money to rebuild the motor,I will probably have to sell one of the other

parts 1st to pay to have the block done.

If I was selling the engine complete ,of course I would do that ,although mine was on 6.8-1

which ain't to everyones taste nowadays.

So by supplying the pistons untouched you can decide your own c/r and valve cut out

sizes.
