cleaning/refurbing K&N's?
Whats best to do with these guys? mine is filthy, ive got some of the spray stuff to treat it with after, just need some advice on how to get it clean so it actually flows a bit of air..

DON'T use anything other than the correct K&N cleaner, as it will damage the cotton gauze, which is surgical gauze.
You can get this seperately or in a kit of both cleaner/treater from K&N dealers.

Only use K&N cleaner, but if you want my advice, buy a big bottle of cleaner and a small tin of oil. The kits are rubbish because you'll run out of cleaner LONG before you use all the oil. There is a seller on Ebay that sells both individually (as any K&N dealer will in actual fact).
