Very cool, just a huge shame it leaked water you'd of thought they would of thought of that !! Anyone willing to donate their RS ?

why?
they rust well enough on their own

i saw this ages ago. i completly forgot about it. boyd coddington was going to take it and restore it, before he died
i wonder whats happening to it now.

Good read! Don't suppose that back then they were overly concerned with making it a totally sealed container, having said that if they had of done then it would probably still have rusted anyway as the air would oxidise inside the unit itself and rot the car that way!

Real shame that the car didn't make it!

my dad had the same car bout 12 years ago,his was black tho & it now sits in a green house in gernsey.
