Shame, the Carl I've met was very friendly and trusting.

Let me kip at his place and socialise with Maria without him being there, even let me stay there without anyone being there.

Think the break with Maria didn't do him any favours...

Class

some of the comments are truly hilarious

Rob,

The fact i worked a second job to make extra money to buy equipment for G.B , and to ensure i could keep G.B open as a business interest during quiet periods, has nothing to do with you or anyone else.
During my time at dominos i worked 16 hours a day to give my customers a quick turnaround and to keep a good reputation, but i guess you cant understand that.
As for the turbo unit. It was out of warranty by 7 months when i recieved it, and bearing in mind your the type of person who will drive on public roads uninsured posing a risk to other road users, do you really think your entitled to some sort of special treatment.

As said on a previous post.
Getting on the internet over here is a nightmare. Hence why i have only replied now.

do you still think RS500 T4s arnt water cooled, & that Volvo 740 T3 Turbos are smaller than ERST T3s (and that 740 turbos are 2litre), also do you still think GT35s were just truck turbos?

What about it?

He told me he had taken the compressor cover off to have it painted.
I cant be held responsible for people messing with the unit after being repaired.
The core assembly for that unit was supplied by turbo technics due to the irrepairable damage the unit had when i recieved it.

And in Rabs case,
He had a problem with the unit which i said to send back immediately.
I didnt recieve the unit back, as Rab had said the head gasket had gone, which was causing the smoking.
He then sold the turbo to someone else.

Reagrds,
Carl

i'm not taking sides here, as i've never met any of the people involved, but as always there are 2 sides to every story.

maybe carl is a complete retard and dosen't have a clue what he's doing! but on the other hand, maybe the customers have messed around with the units as he says.

as for him not having a clue, we all have to start somewhere don't we?

i agree there are 2 sides to every story; but would you pay him to rebuild your turbo? i wonder what machinery/ qualifications/ experience he actually has

secondly, from reading some of the complete an utter rubbish he has talked on here before; i think i'd opt for the retard

Carl
7 months out of warranty ha ha, look at my previous posts on how long i have been trying to contact you for and you may find it was in warranty at the time of the dates posted, i started this thread back in april, take a look at my other thread in november about it and january! like i said i would of provided you with SORNS to show how long the car was off the road for (3 years) and when i have just got insured again in june 2008, as for no insurance, where i live on the edge of the countryside, we have a track just opposite our road in the court farm that my friend owns so i could give it a little run. many people on here have met me now, i am an honest user and the turbo unit has had no use.

you did not even have the decency to unwrap the turbo unit and have a peek, and looking through your posts about looking for new job ideas in the past and your basic knowledge of turbos has made me very aware of scammers now. its being sent to a well respected user on here now to see what work you have done internally as im not attempting to strip the insides with no knowledge of the internal components..

the other day i removed the 4 bolts to hold the housing on and i laugh at the offcuts you have used to replace my old rusty bolts that were on there, you have obviously cut them down to size with a hacksaw! also the horse-shoe type clamps have not been replaced (i dont know there proper name). i have now got a reconned turbo technics unit on the car off a member on fiestaturbo.com, with the reciept of repair, these parts are new, you just used the old clamps.

also if you were in excellent knowledge of turbo units, why did you not replace the housing which was cracked when i sent it to you last year.

i see you have changed your username from g.b turbo solutions to carlsworth now?

Cut them down with a haksaw eh...

This is what i have to contend with. People who have no clue stating i have no clue.
The bolts you refer to were supplied by a company called fixit if i remember correctly, and were purchased in a 1000 box.
If you really want, i can take pictures of all the bolts i have left and you can compare.
As for the crack in the housing.
You really expect me to believe it hasnt been abused looking at the state of that.
I have also HAD to change my user name, as i will not renew my subscription as a trader.
And is it any wonder.

Im just about sick of this shit.
You want a new turbo.
FINE
Give me your address and ill fucking buy you a new one.
This shit really isnt worth me getting THIS stressed for.

As of today, i want this thread kept open for 1 week, so fucko here can tell everyone how "he won" and show everyone his new turbo, then i want my account deleted.

don't mean to jump on any1 post here but i've been fuked over with a cosworth turbo i had reconned off G.B Turbos it lasted all of 3 mins before smoking it tits off even when i had paided for a new shaft, bearing and seals becaus eit took so long to repair in the first place i had some1 else look at the turbo and thankfully it needed only the correct and Brand New Seals fitted and not the old used 1's

I'm not gonna go off on 1 cause TBH i didn't get what i paided for and the i got some1 else to look at the turbo who thankfully fixed it but i would know never to use or recommend G.B Turbos to any1

what ever happended to Danny@RAdesigns wasn't he working along side you aswell doing turbos repairs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Am i also right in thinking you weren't registered as a company or have a business bank account? thus making all the money you earned you never paided Tax on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

You can still pay tax on earnings from an unregistered business without and business bank account.

the only thing i see is carlsworth told him to send the turbo back and he will sort it out, then once he had sent it he didn't bother to sort it out. instead of buying him a new turbo would it not be easy and cheaper to just refund the cost of the rebuild.
