Thinking of chopping my M3 in for a cheaper car and have a real inkling for a White ST-3 untill the RS comes out.

Other then looks are they much different to the slighty older version?

Any comments on them?

Also on the option list was is a power converter?

I don't doubt they are not as good as the M3, but I've had it four years now and fancy a change, and a slightly cheaper motor. Pretty much every new car these days is dropping a bollock in depreciation but thats the nature of the beast

I had a buyer but didn't sell as I bottled out buying another really expensive car

 

mind you if you get an ST, you could get a 5dr for your boy and still have a nippy car

 

I just don't get the full use out of the M3 anymore and I'm doing a shit load of money each month and I'm slightly worried about the future Tax plans plus don't like leaving places.
Also its so reliable and drivable its makes the cossie feel shit

overall the same,, few exterior changes,, such as black rear difuser(spelling)

interior is much much better quality..

and clear rears as standard...

old mans got a 08 spec titanium...

Rippy mentioned (when he wasnt acting a cunt) that his ST3 was being filled up like his cossie of old!

Think thats one of the reasons he got shot of his.............. (cue Brooksy to say otherwise! ).

 

Dont get me wong i love my ST buts it is a thirsty fooker, i have never seen any better than 25 MPG which was fine 12 months ago when petrol was 80p.

 

I do fuck all miles thou and only get 21mpg with the M3 anyway

 

im driving one at the weekend paul, my mate has just chopped in his st3 for this new facelift, and he seems very happy.

 

They really do need a remap to see the best of them, i've got the Dreamscience stratagem software which is brilliant

 

Yes but remember he stepped out of the smg M3 to the focus............And he thought it was juicy compared to the M3!

I've driven both the facelift and pre-facelift and no, the drive is the same. Just cosmetic changes really. Looks much better now I reckon, apart from the chrome needle centres on all the dials. Were better as matt silver.

We nearly bought one a couple of weeks ago but two things made up our mind we were only offered Ł8500 (I was hoping for nearer 11K) for Debs Clio 197 Sport and secondly I saw one in the flesh and really didn't think it looked that great, certainly not as good as the Clio anyway!

 

The new front lights look good, looks a lot slicker.
