As titled i want some front diff pics fromm 4x4 cossies where the speedo worm goes in???

 

passenger side of car..you need to pull out the drive shaft..3 bolts hold the worm drive housing onto the side of the front diff..

if your speedos not working. check the cable with a drill before stripping the car

 

Thats all i needed to know about pulling out the drive shaft but what about the oil???do i need to drain it??the cable has been changed and checked so this is its last choice really Thanks mate

 

i take it your speedo doesnt work?

then what it is is a plastic drive

look around where the cable screws on there will be a littl hole, there is a roll bin that you need to tap out and then pull the speedo cog out

then replace with new one

 

Yeah thats what in hoping to do, parts on order. Its not my car as mines a 2wd its for a friend of mine(girl) and she phoned a certain person up in essex ---- ------- and they said that they would have to sell her a complete gearbox now talk about taking advantage, well good job she spoke to me first so thats why ive been on here asking alsorts of question just want to make sure that im doing the right part and properly and as usual everyone helps!!!!!!THANKS,Now where do i sign to get gold membership????
