Escos electrical gremlin - anyone had it?
Yes I know - not another electrical gremlin on kev's car
Anyway, it appears that my indicators are blowing fuse 12, every so often, even a 20 amp!! Getting more frequent now!!
Not so much a problem you would have thought (as BMW drivers don't use indicators do they!!)
HOWEVER, when the fuse blows I also lose power to the starter circuit and the car won't start!!
I have recently changed the stalks as the two spring plunger horn contacts were making a right racket. Although the indicator relay is the same one!!?
Where do I start??

UPDATE:
Doesn't appear to be the stalks as I disconnected both the plugs. It just seems to be blowing randomly - can't nail it down to any action thats performed.
Fuse 12 does the horn, indicators, hazards, and lights. And also the reversing lights.
Why it affects my starting circuit, I've NO idea!!!

But is may be designed like that - no live on indicators which in turn cuts the starter circuit.....
So your have to work out if its an issue just with the lighting circuit - snagging wire etc OR a fucked alarm system which is actually causing the fault....
Good luck
