Standard Cosworth suspension specs
you might be able to "work backwards " from this info to ascertain what you need
These are some of the changes from 3-door to Sapphire 2wd made by Ford.
Obviously the 4-dr shell was stiffer which has to be taken into account.
Spring rates went up from 106 to 118lb/in at the front and 263 to 286 lb/in at the back.
Damper rates were made softer in bump and stiffer in rebound.
ARB was increased to 16mm on back
Castor increased by over one degree
Camber made fractionally more negative
Kingpin inclination made slightly greater.
Front knuckles re-designed to lower the front roll centre from 144mm to 70mm

I dug deep to find the standard spring rates on Sierra and 2WD Sapphire Cosworth and I'am little bit confused about it:
If I get it for the standard springs:
Front:
Sierra: 106 lbs/in
Sapphire 118lbs/in
Rear:
Sierra: 264 lbs/in
Sapphire 286 lbs/in
Would you confirm those numbers please ?
If we compare to GAZ coilover we found:
GHA: front 300 lbs/in rear 180 lbs/in
GOLD:front 400 lbs/in rear 200 lbs/in
Basically, GAZ increase by 300 % the rate in front ?
By any chance, does someone know the spring rate of uprated GGR standard height spirings for 2WD Sapphire (GGR2247) please ?
