Default Porche GT2 0......Es Cos 3 ! LMFAO!!!!!!!!

Just got back from a Sunday morning drive in the Es Cos........was minding my own bizz on the A303 (nr Wincanton) driving along at 70 - 80 MPH (ish)........Noticed in my wing mirror Silver Porche GT2 prob doing around a ton.

Picked up me speed and followed him (stayed about 10 car lenghts behind) for about 2 miles, then he slows down to about 75 - 80.....We are both in the inside lane, so I indicate to go past him - as I draw level he floors it - quite impressive too, I am in fourth so well in the lag zone but caught him after 200 yds and eased past (now in fifth ans silly speeds)......then we come up against some "normal" trafic and he dials in behind me (75 MPH ish now) he's very close to by rear bumper (about 1 yard lol). I've selected 4 th and as car in front moves over to the inside lane me floors it

Well, I pulled 15 - 20 car lengths on him within 10 - 12 seconds (he was DEFFO tyring!!), got to roundapout at Sparkford - me sensible now BUT he goes to undertake me under braking for the roundabout - me not havinjg any of that so I floor in in second and easily out drag him up the long hill near the Optimax garage - again pulled a good few lenghts on him

I think he gave up after that and just decided to stay behind me untill the Yeovil turn off - me put hazzard lights on once and he flashed me and went straight on

I love Cossie's

i did the same to a porker the other night too but it wasnt a GT2it was a brand new 54 plate carrera S. was crusing around 65 on the motorway and the 911 went passed about 80. looked over at my girlfriend in the passenger seat who i thought was sleeping and said to myself "fcuk it chances like this dont come up everyday" so dropped it to 4th and was going to pull up along side him and give him a wee nod...before i even got to his back quarter he was off but so was i, got up to his front qurter then missed my change to 5th. pretty equal up to about 150 then i slowed down. looked over to check my girl was still sleeping and she went crazy saying she has never been so scared in her life and that being in my car is like being on a rollercoaster!
i love cossies!
when i got in i checked the spec of the 91 and its something like 4.8 to 60, 10 something to 100 and 180 odds top speed.
my old taxi did ok then?

one of my mates works for porsche uk, evans halshaw, and he has drove the motorsport version. From what i was told its straight from porsche 600hp out the box, (only in black to), carbon bumpers, doors, boot, bonnet e.t.c. and lighter wheels.

Maybe wrong tho. lol

Nope, no such car mate. They do a GT2 Clubsport, but its not got that spec mate.

Sounds like it would be good though!

my bad then,

the bloke who owns the car, runs a porsche breakers up north, so not sure if he has built it and is telling everyone its standard.

he also collects 3dr's and 500's, so he must have some taste.

None of them come really stripped... the GT2 clubsport, GT3 and GT3 RS come with no rear seats and are available with buckets, cages and ceramic brakes though.

If you want stripped and new from Porsche you could buy a GT3 racecar though!

Here are the two racecars that Porsche sell. You really can just buy one of these direct from Porsche...

GT3 Cup

GT3 RSR

Sooo cool.

OK, OK - enough of the MR 2 comments

Got to say - the GT2 was very fast though.....I would say that a Stage 3 Es Cos or 4x4 Saph (T34/greens) would have struggled big time against it.........

Maybe a GOOD (well set up) RWD Stage 3 Saph would have done OK (ish)............Me thinks a RWD Saph with T4/greys would be ideal............well in dry conditions anyway

I dont usually race, so my adrenalin levels were sky high for about an hour afterwards lolol

Nice one Doug

He MUST have been a bit gutted!!!! he was very very unlucky to have come up against you though as there are very few genuine 500bhp+ Escorts out there and thats whats needed to beat one of these badboys

If I was him... I'd be getting my GT2 chipped and then come back looking for the re-match!

Porkie, the GT2 is not a turbo charged car is it?

What power are they as standard?

....and how much more power when chipped??
