Default focus st blue fin

Hi got the chance to buy one tomoro off a mate for 300 quid are they ok,is this to much second hand cheers.

If it's secondhand, how will it be any good for your motor? I'm pretty certain they 'lock' to the car/ECU first used on.

I heard the dream science is better but the blue fin does give you 271 bhp and i can hope fully get it for 250 so is it still worth me getting the ds cheers.

Ł200 to Ł250 would be a reasonable resale on a reset bluefin tbh

If you're after a BlueFin and it's been reset by Superchips, then any cheaper than you can buy it new is good (although you probably get no warranty as not the original customer) - it's not like they can wear out like a secondhand mechanical part.

I guess with some of the other handheld units, people like the (idea of) multiple maps - but do you really need anything more than the std map capability and the 'chipped' one? (answer may be yes if you plan to do further mod's)
