the 2 judges who gave it to joe did so convincingly, didnt have a clue who had it, hopkins was very crude holding at every opportunity and on back foot all fight, not the best fight but everyone knewit was gonna be hard.......

Amazing and i didn't expect Joe to get it from the yanks. Hopkins was being dirty and playing for time as well as being sore loser. Have to say though how convenient that ref Joe Cortez let Hopkins hold all day long because that's his game but when it wasn't Mayweathers game and they moaned pre fight he never let any hold or tieing up.

odds would have been the worst of all the scenarios anyway.in my mind joe is the better fighter but aint gonna knock anyone out at this point in his career with his sore hands.workrate and skill to beat anyone.
everything pointed towards joe on points.

What a fight ! I've only just got up lol
I watched half of it online but after that screwed up I listened to the rest on Radio 5 and they were certain it hadn't gone Joe's way.
I didn't see any of the low punches but it sounded like Hopkins was milking it and tbh he paid for that. From what I did see though some of Hopkins comments were fair enough, he did show Calzaghe how its done for the first few rounds but Joe stayed strong and kept fighting back and by the end it certainly sounded like it was Joe who was the better fighter.

If he fights like that against roy jones hell get stopped cos roy jones is a totally different fighter to hopkins and has mental hand speed and good power at that weight.
Jones as been there dne it and i doubt joe would take the fight as they asked him if hed fight jones next and he said he dnt no if he was confident he would ave said yes cos he usually does givin it the big un after fights.

great fight, he beat the yank at his own game and didn't complain once- very tight but joe had to get it- he was the only fighter that came to fight

didn`t think he was gonna get it tbh. he landed blows that counted, and that`s what carried it through. i think he only had one good solid punch in the whole fight. hopkins was clinical to be fair. everytime joe left himself open, he took his chance. the one that put him down was a fuckin belter! i love joe calzaghe as a boxer, and i honestly didn`t think he deserved the verdict. you need a bit of luck though.

on the fight itself, joe edged it. there was alot of close rounds were joe just nicked em. plues i think the judges seen through bernards cheating antics, as there was a big screen were u could see the reply. judges also seen the reply,
end of the there was only 1 guy there that was gonna put on a fight. the other fag was defending , grabbing, cheating, headbutting, joe was there to fight , hopkins was there to do somthin i dnt no wat, it wasent boxin tho. llooll
