Default cossie clunking along, cv joint problem????

Had the car out properly for first time in 2-1/2 years
Anyway I was taking it to the garage to get a few things sorted and i got a few hndred yards from the house when i started getting this hurrendous "clunkety clunk" PMSL from what seemed like the front, i think it's possibly a driveshaft/CV type issue????
I got the guy to put it on the ramp and i had a look underneath but couldn't find anything wrong!
I have had the whole front end off and back together over the time it's been off the road but there seems to be nothing that springs to mind that would cause it. Bit of a pain in the ass as I don't know for sure what it could be since I've messed around with everything on the car at some point.
ps it happes ALL the time, not just on full lock or turning

you sure its not the exhaust hitting the prop

cv joints will only do that when on full lock

That's what i thought about the CV's, but it's defo not the exhaust, you can feel it through the string wheel. I had a problem with that before so i know where your coming from.

check the arm that connects to the steering column and rack, as the bush tends to melt aswell as its next to the exhaust

othe rthan that, engine mounts, ball joints, bushes, or tre

carnt think of anything else unless the driveshaft is knackered

Jacked the car up so all 4 wheels were off the ground, spun the suspected wheel and low and behold, inner front drivers side CV is totally F*cked. Removed the shaft last night so I'll source a new cv/shaft this week with any luck. Thanks for the help anyway
