The only thing you may need to change is the plug for the boost control valve.......P8`s are usually mapped for a Lectron Valve and L8`s for an Amal Valve and they have different plug fittings......alternately if you are having the car remapped you can get your mapper to map the L8 to control the Lectron Valve
