Default Towing a car with no mot or tax?

Hi peeps. Im looking at buying a car with no mot or tax and want to know if i can tow it home with a solid tow bar about 30 miles on the back of my pug 405. The car is not a wreck so i believe it to be road worthy with working lights and brakes etc. Anyone know the legalities?

CheeRS. Adam.

I think you are ok as long as it is insured.

you can tow it if you make it so it cant be started remove dizzy cap or something from the car and its then classed as a trailer because it cant propell itself hope this helps
