surely its going to depend on your map sensor?

if you got a 3bar you'll only see 2 bar any how ???

yes - as the pectel monitor just displays exactly what the ECU is reading from the MAP sensor. it does not have it's own MAP sensor - although one of the auxilliary inputs for oil pressure could be used for it with a 5 bar MAP sensor for example. but why you would want to run more boost than what the ecu can see i don't know.

the SECS monitor is slightly different in that it is not using the internal ecu analogue to digital conversion and filtering as it takes the voltage from the MAP sensor and converts it to a digital number inside. but you're still limited by the range of the MAP sensor and the scaling of the A/D conversion

contact boschman (IMA or phil or whatever he is called these days) for a price, but yes you will need a remap as the ecu needs to know that you have changed to a 5 bar otherwise your 2 bar of boost that would have been full scale on a 3 bar MAP will only be about half the voltage of what it was (so your ecu will only think that you have 1 bar of boost and so will dangerously underfuel etc)
