Hadlands actually very good around that circuit... and he is getting to grips with the car alot more now...

Simon Norris and Kev would be mad quick in their EVOs and have done great times around there...

Gotta say that Andy Gallachers's new car would be the fastest though I reckon!

Wonder what Tony Ryans best time or Scottys as well

anything around 1.13 or below is not hanging around at Combe.

Err, WHO timed Martin doing a 1:14.9?

The Escort was fucking blistering around there Rally Day, really did look an animal!

Luke, Jase & Ratty's Maestro ran a 1:24.9 with me and Ratty in the car, with one person, the shitload more power they have now and all the other mods hopefully something like a 1:21 is on!

1.14 is good. I've gone quicker in the Sierra though...

I imagine Mart could do a 1.10 around there now if he tried and had a clear lap.

I know, I know!! I have been on the phone to Martin twice today for you!!

It was Tonys number 1 job today apparently!

The Turbo does have 2 big plus points though...

1. MUCH easier to launch!
2. MUCH harder to break!

Thanks. Sierra would be on D02 Direzzas anyway as its just me and Maria this weekend and getting slicks in the Sierra is a no no because of cage and Fuel tank!

I reckon there is every chance to drop from a 1:24.9 to a 1:22.0, looking 2.9 a lap with a few more horses, More Grip, Better Braking, and the ability to go full throttle instead of 3/4 throttle down the straight.

I'll be intrigued as to what times people run this weekend

I'll be happy with anything under 1:23, although with the Action Days the traffic is a nightmare and fun all at the same time! Rally Day, Jap Fest, the RSOC and MLR days I did last year all have quieter sessions (fewer cars, more consistent lap times)

Fastest car is the one who's happy taking the most chances I reckon! "Show 'em the nose" is my policy, as long as the front of my car is ahead of the car in front going into the annoying "No overtaking" zones then the corner is mine

I know having fun in a safe manner is the most important thing about trackdays blah blah, but for me I enjoy seeing how fast I can go and how each little mod adds up to quicker and quicker laps!

So who's got what session times then? Be good to have some PF battles!

I've got a 9 and 9.15 plus 1.45, 2.15, and 3.45, plus hoping to hear on some others if things work out my way!

IMO. for your average jo, anything below a 1:20 is pretty fookin quick! in a 2ltr turbo car,
anythign like an RS turbo, then 1:24-1:25 is going well! (still speaking average jo times here not race cars!)

IIRC the guy who runs Dialynx and owned Steve audi a4 before him.. has done 1,14's in that car when it had the 1.8 TT engine in which was around 440hp...

Good going considering it isn't stupidly high Horsepower
