I think it won everytime it went out.. and won the series overall twice or 3 times and came 2nd once..
The rules state the cars have to compete with the standard gearbox and road legal tires
which makes the 1min 14 lap times even more impressive
He certainly builds some impressive cars down there

Good on ya for lobbing the Evo round there - a little too tight for 4wd cars I reckon, but you seemed to be getting that 1st corner very nicely, your handbrake obviously works better than mine!
How did you get on at the drag racing?

first race meeting this year at Easter, 2wd 300bhp saloons were seeing 1:17/1:18, 500+bhp Evo's 1:14 - both on road tyres.
As a comparison 300+bhp Exige 1:11 and Nick Williamson's Escos 1:12 in the same group as the Evo's but on slicks
However, need to bear in mind that race conditions are very different to open trackday in the main, as far as achieving times is concerned, so a loose comparison

martin J's thunder saloon can do 1.10 round there with greg driving.
That a car with only 500hp.
But as lee has said, Andrews new focus round there should be the quickest thing off this board.

si my best run was 8.4 at 86mph im about 360bhp,did you do any runs?

None unfortunately, as spent the whole day running the handling and stop all the donutting near where the public were.
Might chuck my car up the strip at Central Day this Sunday, just to see what sort of times it runs before I go mad and start modding the power!
Must get it on the rollers soon to see what the power is like too.
What track times have you got for Saturday at Combe?
