Is this right then ? its going to cost me £105 just to retain a number ? robbing twats or have i read it wrong ?

thats the fee paid for when you assign it aswell though providing its within the year

That also includes the £80 transfer fee to the next vehicle.

Just to make them more money, it costs £25 to renew it for a further 12 months....
