not many around here would tell you to keep it wrapped for more than a day though pete, surely it needs to breathe so it can heal? i know my brother puts bepanthen on and they dont scab that way, his ones on his chest are really colourful.

i used sudocrem on mine... very similar to bepanthen... either that or a cream called cetroba... again very good!

those ones on his chest are lovely!

he came round yesterday after having it done a few hours, i told him to put sudocrem on it so he did

i quite like them, considering swallows are a bit crap ( remember loads of skinheads having them each side of their necks and teardrops on their eyes etc lol )

the only advise i would give (and i'm not arguing about it) is.....washed 3 times a day....a light coating of bepanthen and wrapped up in clingfilm for 72hrs.......tried n tested.........keeps it clean....moisterised....and helps the skin/body do it stuff/heal...take it off and the skin drys and falls off the next day.....but "U" CAN DO WHAT THE FUCK U LIKE.........i can see the difference in healing time and end results.........

i use nothing bar a tiny bit of vaseline on my tattoos and always heal fine, i only use it on joints where its a bit harder to heal.

Kat von D is both overrated and irritating as fuck, there are plenty of artists at the same, if not higher level in the uk, including female ones doing portraits. I like Miami Ink, but you have to laugh that people think they must be the best 4 tattooists in e world cos they are on the TV.

maria i love that sleeve its stunning! i ve been thinking about getting one done for a while but craig has been trying to put me off the idea as have a lot of people who dont think sleeve tattoos look right on women! but i think if its something like that which is very girly it can look lovely!

the work on that site is awesome to!! i cant believe u ve been to miami ink mega jealous, i love kat von dee and her work!

theres also a cream called lasonil which is fab and wat i ve always used and been recommended works as an anti inflamatory
