Default Quality Signage to show to crap drivers.....

I've just been up to meet JonnyBravo to exchange some parts that he'd bought off me.

Whilst I was sat in the garage waiting for him to meet me he sends me this via picture txt that he'd been showing to people who where being nobheads on the road...

I proper creased up laughing when I saw it - apparently there was a bloke in a BMW (says it all) that wanted...shall we say revenge being shown it!!!

funny i hate undertaking.

But with so many people with no lane discipline it hard not if you want to get anywhere on the roads (i am talking about drivers that just sit in the middle lane)

they should change the law that its illegal to undertaken

Undertaking doesn't exist, other than corpses, so hardly be done for it

I don't have a problem with undertaking. Drivers should be well aware what's around them, they shouldn't "assume" that they don't need to look before they pull left.

There is NO specific law about undertaking. Its perfectly legal in most circumstances where one lane is travelling faster than another.
If you change lanes to do it then change back again you will be tugged for dangerous driving........

However if the motorway is empty and some twat is pottering in the middle lane and you fly past on the inside then you are perfectly entitled to and the police will tug the middle lane wanker.

Highway code says keep left unless you are overtaking ( it not the law but its the rules of the road used to enforce the law )

Indeed
In a goods vehicle limited to say 56mph, you have no choice though, can't use lane 3, so have to go up the inside to make progress.
Not changed lanes to do so, so should be ok.

I was driving back from Pro alloy Saturday and some numpty in a blue focus on a dual carriageway was in the righthand lane nothing in the left lane, so i come tanking along behind him (yes in a bmw) and slow down rather than tailagting the car until he moves over......

2 miles on im still there... no cars in left lane he is still there.... why??
probaly becuase im in a Bmw
so needless to say i dropped it down a gear and went to "tut tut undertake him.....

At the point i indicate and move to the left to go past, the cockheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed moves over too

Then as i pass him on the right side now, he gives a middle finger..

I replied by blowing kiss i disagree with swearing

They have law to cover anything when driving - rev your exhaust too much and that's you done etc, forget the name of it.
I wouldn't like to push the point at all.

Its not illegal to undertake ? fuck me I never knew that !

Its the way people do it that fucks me off.

The 2 examples from that trip would be one guy in a BMW 1 series who assumed attempting to undertake everything would get him through the rush hour traffic on the A14 faster then just sitting at one speed. The traffic was AWFUL and strangely when I got to the M6 guess who was only 2 cars in front ?! Tailgating people and attempting to drive past them on the hard shoulder isn't what I call normal driving.

The other guy REALLY pissed me off, rush hour M6 heading towards the M6 toll, traffic everywhere so no point being in a hurry, middle and fast lane packed with cars doing 50mph, he's darting between the inside and middle lane so aggressively I'm suprised he didn't lose it, I pull up alongside him and he has 2 kids in the back ! I'm thinking WTF are you playing at ! waved him the sign, his mrs gives me the bird, I exchange the same gift back and he stops driving like a complete twat !

I appreciate we all drive a bit to fast at times but there is a time and a place and rush hour on the M6 is enough of a near death experience drive imo without twats like that risking others lives.

Rant over

It's not legal.

The Highway Code says:
"Do not overtake on the left or move to a lane on your left to overtake. In congested conditions, where adjacent lanes of traffic are moving at similar speeds, traffic in left-hand lanes may sometimes be moving faster than traffic to the right. In these conditions you may keep up with the traffic in your lane even if this means passing traffic in the lane to your right. Do not weave in and out of lanes to overtake."

I've never heard of anyone being tugged for hogging the middle lane, but know of two blokes stopped for undertaking. One was fined, one was given a bollocking.

Thanks Dan, regardless of people hogging the middle lane it will be your own fault if you undertake them and they hit you causing a crash, potentially a big crash at that time of day too

I need a sign that says " I am late for work "

Everyone seems to take fast driving very personally. Making all manor of signs, middle digit, the vees, the wee willy winky sign etc...

Personally I am just late for work everyday and trying to get there as fast as possible, its nothing personal, they may as well just be stationary rocks in the road for all I care, i just need to get past them as quick as possible.

I will make up a sign today and selotape it to the M3 window.

Then there are the people that think it is because I drive a BMW... did they ever see me in any of my other cars lol?!

M6 at rush hour isn't much better and I was in the fast lane OVERTAKING whatever traffic I could, its not my fault this cunt didn't want to pull out infront of me (which I'd happily of let him in) instead he thinks he can swing between a few lorrys, pop out the other side and save himself some valuable seconds on his journey

I suggest you pop on to www.5ive-0.org and talk to some real traffic police like I have and see what would happen in my example of an empty motorway, me going past a middle lane hogger on the left without changing lanes to do so. They WILL tug middle laners given the chance
