I went to Uni, and my housemate that I lived with for two years was gay.

Ask any group of blokes if they "like" gay people, and nearly all of them are so insecure, that they'll think you're suggesting something and somehow questioning their masculinity, so will obviously answer no.

Two blokes kissing full on next to me in the street doesn't bother me in any way apart from the same way that it bothers me if it's a man and a woman. It's just impolite in public, regardless of sexuality.

It kinda shows doesnt it that even with all this political correctness and being told by the bloody government that we have to accept this and that,people still have strong views about being gay as well as other issues.We accept that it goes on but we dont have to agree with the issue of it being right and we certainly dont accept it when we are told its natural.I am really suprised the depth of feeling on here and the amount of people who have spoken out.For once I dont feel like the minority.If you are gay,dont be offended by any thing i have wrote but you have to accept that there are still people with strong views against what you do.

i do act and look and talk like an everyday bloke - ask anyone who knows me and they'd tell you the same camp pissed me right off tho, there aint no frigging need - its just a blatant advert for telling the world about you been gay and gives gay people a bad name - i, and my partner, to look at us, you'd just think we were good mates and thats it - totally str8 looking talking acting and thats it - i dont mind getting shittened upto the eyeballs in oil and muck from working under the car all day, infact, i bloody love it - its relaxing and fun changing a clutch and then when i'm at work, i represent a big multynational company to my passengers, so i act normal and i'm just an everyday regular lad who has a laff and a joke, swears like a trooper and keeps my private life jsut that - private from others. i dont mind talking about it, but i'd never kiss my fella in public - i respect other peoples wishes of not wanting to see that sort of thing as its a bit impolite and ignorant.

I went to sixth form college with a couple of gay guys and both of them were lovely,although one of them had a bit of an obsession with leather trousers! Nobody seemed to have a problem with it which is great because young people can be quite prejadice ( is that how you spell it? blonde moment- sorry!) By the way I did decorate the bedroom and I shall be keeping a close eye on andy! xxx

i dont expect ya to accept it m8 - its upto you what you think and there aint no-one who can change that. i dont look gay, dont talk it, dont act it and dont go round shouting about it - people i work with found out thru the same person i confided in in the first instance, maybe it wasnt such a good idea telling that person? i enjoyed my job as a bus driver and mechanic before that - not to worry tho, in a better position of job security now and love the job i do

i try not to skulk about - i've learnt that people think what they want and say what they want, most of the time it doesnt bother me and its just water off a ducks back as far as i am concerned

Given the jibes, it may surprise some of you to know that I do not actually know anybody who has openly admitted to being genuinely (male or female).

However, as you have probably noticed, I am COMPLETELY at ease with my sexuality and have no adverse feelings against people of any sexuality, purely because of the side they bat on . As far as I am concerned I will judge people on their individual merits, and sexuality doesn't come into it in any way, shape or form.

It may interest those that are homophobic that it is a known FACT that the more homophobic you are, the more insecure of your own sexuality you are - i.e. you are probably scared of your own tendancies . Start coughing, beating your chest and speaking in a deep voice, and we may just about believe that you're not raging homos (hiding behind a facade of hatred at the fact that you're confused) .
