Default RaceTech Dual Oil temp and pressure Gauge

Just bought one of these. Oil pressure is easy enough using a t-piece supplied by burtons.

With the oil temp, its a caplillary jobbie and i'm just wondering where is the best place to screw it into. Do most people drill a hole in there sump and then screw into that or is there a better way of getting oil temp?

Cheers

i welded a threaded bung into my sump and screwed it into that, although i've seen people drill the centre of the sump plug out and put it in there.. iirc i'm sure i've seen them pre-modded in the burton catalogue

Is the sump plug dig enough to accept that then. Didnt think it would be. Wasnt keen on having to remove the sump and drill a hole in it lol

you'll need to check the size of threads and see if there would be enough of the sump plug left, i always thought you had to mod the sump, which is what i had to do..
